	<title>NAPIER POWER HERITAGE</title>
	<link>http://www.napierheritage.org.uk/</link>
<description>Napier Power Heritage trust - the history of Napier , manufacturer of cars, aero engines, diesel engines, minting machines. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE At our recent AGM we reviewed the previous year, 2008 with special regard and affection, that we, NPH, were privileged and triumphant in celebrating the unique event, the 200th anniversary of the continuation of Napier engineering history, which is still ongoing. Having researched and recorded 200 years of Napier history into safe preservation with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London, our newly elected Committee plans to expand our role of an education charity into the 21st century. We are actively expanding our digital communication methods to provide greater publicity and to encourage closer ties with our members and the public at large who wish to have easier access to the famous Napier company history, on line. Under the leadership of our new Chairman Roy Gasson, Secretary Trevor Brockington, Treasurer Alastair Ure-Reid, Membership Secretary Nigel Paine, Alan Vessey our renowned Archivist and committee members Clive Boothman Cars, Ray Horsley Castings, Bill Mongar Restoration, John Street Acton factory/ Apprentices, Clen Tomlinson Model maker, David Williams Deltic Engines. We are also looking to extend association with other engineering research charities and with engineering Museums and Trusts. President
