The Editor reviewed Last years events and the AGM held in April, at which Derek Grosmark gave a very interesting talk on the Napier Motor Car company at Lambeth and Acton.
Napier Travellers Bridge the Atlantic Patrick Campbell visited from Canada, he has restored a crashed Sabre.engine.
Our own nigel Paine visited Canada and carried out an oral archive with Member John Heley to record his memories of Sabres during the War and development work on the Deltic.
Ultimate "Lion" Restoration well underway Trust member Andy Lloyd is well on the way to completing his restoration of a 1925 "Lion VA" engine, the project still requires double and single carburettors, (if you have any to donate to the project please contact us).
Challenged by a Model Typhoon 1B Model builder Peter Halliday has kindly donated the 7ft wingspan model to the trust.
D. Napier & Son Experiences in the 1960s PartII by Maldwyn Pugh makes very interesting reading
Reminiscenses of Napier- back to the 1930s Part II by the late Alfred Mortimer, gives a fasinating insight to the Company and the personnel of those times.
