Flight sergent Edwards’ Typhoon

Harry Ven de Beld in holland asked for information on a plane that went down on the 29 April 44 near Huissen. He has sent some photos of the parts found in the Pannerdr canal near the site of the crash. The records give the following info. The pilot was Light Sergeant T S Edwards of 182 sqaudron. Plane MN599 The log book says at HUIZEN Failed to return.

According to Harry Van de Beld Flt Sergeant Edwards was a New Zealander.

Huissen is near Arnhem on the Rhine.
